Surf lessons on the north shore vs. the east shore? What's better?

In the summer and even in the winter I do like to teach surf lessons on the beautiful east shore of Oahu now. Why?? Well when I first started my surf school over 25 years ago I was the only surf school around! Now there are over thirty surf schools who teach surf lessons on the north shore of Oahu. Although it definitely is still a beautiful place to teach surf lessons, it has become quite congested in the surf lineup. I have found an absolutely beautiful uncrowded white sand beach with small beginner waves on the east side of the island with no other surf schools! It is heaven on earth, surrounded by green mountains that were in the movie Jurassic park, and blue perfect waves, ideal for the beginner surfer to learn how to surf on Oahu.

If your day is focused on the north shore, we can still take you to learn how to surf on the north shore of Oahu, but if you trust me, the east side of the island is heaven on earth and just perfect for the beginner surfer!
