Whens the best time to come and surf the north shore of Oahu!

When is the best time to come and take a surf lesson in Hawaii! Well good question!

Most people know the north shore of Oahu gets really big in the winter months and it can be extremely dangerous to attempt to surf, if you dont know where your going.

However, there are some excellent places to come and still take a surf lesson on Oahus north shore of east shore if you really know where to go. Luckily Ive lived here for 30 years and I know exactly where to take people to surf safely. There is a small wave cove thats is protected from the big waves while taking a surf lesson on the north shore.

There is also a super great surf spot on the east side of the island that is just perfect for a surf lesson. It is also on the Oahu. The east side surf beach is very nice for beginners surfers, and those who are looking for a surf lesson on Oahu. It provides very small easy waves year round and it is shallow enough so you can touch the bottom and feel safe.
